Jock Itch (Hadhad)
Scratching your intimate areas isn’t just uncomfortable, it’s embarrassing
Jock itch (tinea cruris) is a type of fungal infection that affects the groin, thighs, buttocks and lower parts of the abdomen. It is caused by dermatophytes, a group of fungi that thrive in moist and hot environments like wet or tight-fitting clothing.1 You can catch it through contact with contaminated towels or clothing, and can transfer fungi to other affected areas of your skin through scratching.
